I'm stoked to bring you this week some visuals for some wicked prototypes and a new special item...
Iris Rev. 7 Prototype
Danny has worked some magic with the PCB design and, folks, you're looking at the comeback of the 2u capability for the Iris!
As if that weren't cool enough, it comes with the brand-new addition of a corner rotary encoder!
Quintessential Quefrency Rev. 5 Proto!
Qualified to give quirky queries... are our dear readers.
(I have a quandary over trying to fit so many words with q in here!)
My word-finding antics aside, Danny has also made some glamorous updates for our dear Quefrency! The right side now has the ability to have 6 of the 1u keys! And stepped caps lock support has been gracefully added in.
Sinc hotswappin'!
The future is full of hotswaps, friend!
Danny has made yet another epic PCB development: a fully hotswapped Sinc with per-key RGB LEDs!
Some samples should be coming to the office soon, so we'll be giving those the quality check before making the deep dive.
😎
Flan-like bumpers!
Don't they look like that custard, flan?
I now feel the need to bake these.
(There are Spanish and French versions! Which do I try making first?!)
Confoundingly cute, these little bumpers we've dubbed as FLAHNS will be helping the team internally quite (ha! Q!) a lot.
But!
Even more importantly, these adorable flan will help us make more supported hotswap pre-builts for everyone.
